Just beautiful! It's so delicate and soft. It should be on a baby announcement! Thank you for entering it in the "Pink and Yellow" challenge.

Location
Last year the rose bushes in our garden in Holland were full of roses, they grew so close together that the new buds grew through the older ones.Time
I took this photo in the morning when the light was at it's best...Lighting
I didn'use any additional lighting, it was early in the morning and the sun was shining beautifully.Equipment
I have a Lumix DMC-TZ60, all of my photos are taken with this little miracle of a camera...The best thing about this camera is that it has a good Leica lens and it is very easy to carry with you because it practically fits in your back pocket. I took this photo free out of hand without any flash or other equipment.Inspiration
Our rose bushes were so full of roses that we had to support the branches not to hang down and break. While doing this I saw a rosebud growing through one of the many full grown roses because there just wasn't any space left... The full and intense color of the young bud made a wonderful contrast to the soft pink of the other roses. It looked like a cradled rose, safely in mothers lap...Editing
This was mostly a natural shot, very little post-processing was done, I only cropped the photo and played a little with the color intensity. I allways shoot a wider shot, to have a wider range of sharpness. In my camera bag
I don't have any equipment in my bag (yet) I am a beginning photographer and I am learning to use a camera, to look for the good light, composition and point of view. One day when I know how to use and set the camera well enough, I will start to think about a bag filled with technical things instead of the need to understand how it works first...Feedback
If you want to take a photo of a soft pink rose with a lot of light shining on it, you have to be careful not to get "burned" spots because of overexposure. Because I was allready supporting the branches of our rose bush, I had the possibility to turn the rose in such a way that the sunlight didn't fall directly on the rose, creating just the right intensity I wanted to achieve. When taking a macro, I like to have as much sharpness as possible, also in the depth of the photo. In order not to get much Bokeh efffect I take a bit more distance and crop the photo later into the dimensions and composition I like. I allways crop in different ways and choose the best one a day later when I can have a fresh look at them...
