Well This afternoon mother nature put on one hell of a show as storms fired up across northern NSW and SE Queensland. As I watched the line of weather creeping over the border closely I decided it was worth a road trip towards Kalbar. But no surprise with the size of the storm system on radar I would only get as far as Milora Qld when I was greeted with this.

After such a very long time on the side lines it was great to be out on a proper chase and taking photo's again. This system produced some extremely dangerous lightning and very heavy rain in my area as well as pretty solid wind gusts as well.
