This picture was taken in a remote coastal area in Labrador Canada called L'Anse au Diable.Time
This was taken in late afternoon prior to sunset.Lighting
There was allot of reflectance, he ocean was ice filled, the landscape snow covered. I used a LEE graduated ND filter for the picture.Equipment
Canon 6D, EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM, Manfrotto 290 Tripod, LEE graduated ND filter.Inspiration
The complete area is a landscape photographers paradise. The natural beauty is what inspired me to take the picture and the position of the sun.Editing
I did minor adjustments with Lightroom and Adobe CC. Some haze adjustment and sharpening.In my camera bag
I use a lightweight bag when hiking and exploring. I take a wide angle lens, a telephoto for wildlife, filters and a tripod.Feedback
I had been in this area before and i planned to return to take pictures. My timing for the sun was no mistake. Its always good to scout new areas for taking pictures and return ready to capture images. Always dress warm, lots of layers on the winter especially in areas like this. You cannot enjoy the experience if your cold.
