Location
This picture was taken at Bell Island in Newfoundland Canada.Time
The picture was taken in the late afternoon.Lighting
The sun was in the correct position that allowed me to utilize a polarization filter.Equipment
I used a Canon 5D MK III to take the picture an a EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens to capture this image. The camera was handheld. I also used a polarization filter.Inspiration
As I was walking the edge of the cliffs I spotted this interesting view and rock formation. It almost looked like a sunken boat but was actually a reef just under the water.Editing
I use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe CC. I tweaked the clarity and used Abobe CC to attach a Fotologo layer. In my camera bag
When hiking I only carry the bare essentials. Camera, wide angle and telephoto lens, filters and Manfroto lightweight tripod.Feedback
I was hiking off the beaten path. That's how you discover these interesting places to take pictures of.
