Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken when I was on a commercial shoot in Amsterdam and a spare evening...I was very lucky with the sunset.
Time
Sun set around 9.45pm.
Lighting
Just natural sun set lighting golden to blue hour.
Equipment
Taken on a Nikon D810, Gitzo tripod and 24-70mm lens set at 35mm
Inspiration
I had seen the lovely shots of the windmills from the village of Zaanes Schans, near Amsterdam, Netherlands. and felt whilst I was in the area I would take the opportunity to see what I could capture.
Editing
Post processing was fairly minimal with a little bit of photo retouching to remove a gaudy sign and blend in a darker exposed image that retained the high lights better, from a set of 3 bracketed exposures.
In my camera bag
I normally carry 2 x Nikon D850's 14-24mm lens, 24-70mm lens, 70-200mm lens, 90mm Macro lens, Gitzo tripod. 3 x SB5000 flash guns and various other bits and pieces including 2 x Lume cubes.
Feedback
Good qulaity tripod, patience, bracket and harvest information from a chosen point to vary the quality and breadth of information captured.
