Nice if it is an island and it is the only house on the island then they have peace and quiet

Location
During a weekend sailing in the province Friesland in Holland, we passed this lovely and typical farm house at the border of one of the big lakes.Time
It must have been around 3 PM on one of the first lovely spring days of the year! You can see the promise of spring in the thickening of the twigs in the trees...Lighting
This photo was taken with the lovely natural light of a cold but beautiful day in spring.Equipment
I took this photo with my little miracle Lumix DMC-TZ-100, an intelligent pocket camera with a nice Leica lens.I didn't use any extra equipment.Inspiration
Friesland is a typical Dutch province with a lot of lakes, rivers and small waterways. It's a very special experience to look at the world from a sailing boat... it gives a completely different perspective from the water! I was waiting for a typical farm house to get a representing shot of this part of Holland which I love so much!Editing
I did a bit of post-processing in Lightroom to emphasise some details like the farm house by lightening them up a little and I darkened the sky a bit.In my camera bag
I don't have any equipment in my bag (yet) I am a beginning photographer and I am learning to use a camera, to look for the good light, composition and point of view. One day when I know how to use and set the camera well enough, I will start to think about a bag filled with technical things instead of the need to understand photography first...Feedback
To capture an image like this is very simple, just look around you and enjoy the beautiful world we are living in, see what is allready there to be seen. When I am sailing or walking, I allways look around me very carefully to see the details of which the world around me is build up. I try to look through a pinhole, without forgetting the whole picture. If you look at a subject to photograph, you have to try to realise what you want to achieve, Try to find the good light, the right point of view and the best composition... And most of all, take more shots with slightly different settings so you can choose the best one, once you get home and open your laptop, the magic of today's world begins... I allways crop it later into the size and composition I like best. Crop the photo in different ways, so you can choose the best one the next day when you can have a fresh look at them!
