What an awesome shot of a cathedral ceiling. It is very bright and cheering.

Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken inside the Rosenberg Palace, Prague castle, Czech Republic

Time

We weer on a sight seeing day at Prague Castle & it was around 2.30pm by the time we got the Rosenberg palace.

Lighting

This is taken inside the building. The only natural light is coming from the windows on the right side of the image. The light colour on the walls helps to reflect the light around the room.

Equipment

This was shot on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200. No flash was used.

Inspiration

The painting on the ceiling was so inspirational. It draws you eyes up & then you notice that the walls are all painted to resemble doors & windows. The only true windows are on the right of the picture.

Editing

A little cropping & adjustment to the exposure only.

In my camera bag

I'm such a lazy photographer. I usually only carry my camera. i like the Panasonic range as they are very light weight & I can carry it around all day.

Feedback

Don't be afraid to use the natural light available. If I had tried to use a flash this would have lost some of the detail of the painting on the walls. Also remember to look up, you never know whats above you!
