Location

This image was taken while travelling on the Alaska Highway through the Yukon.

Time

This image was taken late morning, however as the sun rose at 3am this time of year it was midday sun.

Lighting

Natural light.

Equipment

Nikon D5100 with a Tamron 150-600 mm lens.

Inspiration

Seeing a Grizzly sow with two cubs along the road, with no one else around, is always a treat. This family did not seem to mind our presence at all, but we did not leave the car, lol, and I keep bear spray handy.

Editing

Minor cropping and contrast adjustment.

In my camera bag

Nikon D5100 and a Canon SX710HS compact for hiking.
