Location
This image was taken on a chilly February day at Smithville Lake, Missouri, while enjoying an early season bike ride.Time
This image was taken mid morning.Lighting
Natural lighting, partly cloudy morning.Equipment
This was taken with a Canon SX710 HS, the light, compact camera I carry when hiking and biking.Inspiration
This tree looked so cold and lonely, all by itself near to the lakeshore. Black and white seemed to fit the mood of this lone tree!Editing
Slight contrast adjustment and changing to B & W.In my camera bag
Nikon D5100, a couple of lenses and filters, spare SD cards and batteries, and the above mentioned Canon SX710 HS compact camera.Feedback
I have ridden this stretch of trail many times but never appreciated this lone tree before this morning. I don't know why, perhaps I was in a solitary mood and identified with it. That is why I almost always have a camera handy, even if I have been to the same place before.
