Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken in National Park of Pollino (Italy).
Time
This photo was taken during night of 30/06 and 01/07.
Lighting
This photo shoot was very difficult because I was really in a very dark place . I was helped by the light of my flashlight . As you can see the light pollution behind the tree acts as a color contrast to the blue sky of the night .
Equipment
I used Nikon D750 reflex camera wihout infrared filter, Nikon 20mm f/1.8 G lens and Manfrotto tripod.
Inspiration
I took this picture with the intent to emphasize the majesty of Loricati Pines that are only found in the National Park of Pollino.
Editing
This picture is the result of five frames in Photoshop . I worked out before the sky and then the background .
In my camera bag
In my backpack I always carry my Nikon D750 and my Nikon 50mm 1.4 D , but lately I sold a Nikon 20mm to buy a Samyang 14mm and Nikon 300mm f / 4 D. So stay tuned on my page for other beautiful shots .
Feedback
The astrophotography is a genre of photography very particular and difficult. We have to deal with the weather conditions , with humidity and with the full moon. We must learn the post production and waste hours , days and weeks to create a perfect working method. But in the end the result will always rewarding because we photographed with our idea something that our eyes could not see ...
