Behind The Lens

Location
I took this photo near Otranto in Italy three weeks ago.
Time
I took this photo during night of May 10.
Lighting
This picture represents the transition between two parallel worlds.
Equipment
I used a Manfrotto tripod and a Nikon d750 with Nikon 20 mm 1.8G.
Inspiration
I always try to photograph the Milky Way in remote places where there is very little light pollution. In my pictures I try to represent the beauty of the area in which I live with heavenly vault.
Editing
Yes I used the post -production using the Photoshop graphics software. The photos that I realize are part of the genus astrophotography and the post production is a key point to bring out the weak signal of the Milky Way.
In my camera bag
I always have my Nikon D750 and a wide-angle lenses in my bag with Nd1000 filter, some SD Cards and cleaning cloth.
Feedback
The astrophotography is a genre of photography very particular and difficult. We have to deal with the weather conditions , with humidity and with the full moon. We must learn the post production and waste hours , days and weeks to create a perfect working method. But in the end the result will always rewarding because we photographed with our idea something that our eyes could not see ...
