An old image with a very wide angle lens (lIkely with an orange filter) on a very hazy summer day on Cape Cod. Can you see the lighthouse? It is the Chatham Light. And, as a point of information (especially for you younger shooters who’ve never shot film), I’ve had this 35mm slide enlarged for a client – to a (tack sharp) 40 x 60 mural – where the lighthouse height in the final mural was only one inch high!!…

This was taken at the same sunset as my Sun Spot image which was with a very long lens. The vantage point actually disappeared two years later: We were on a family adventure – a sandy drive down to South Beach in Chatham (via Orleans) on Cape Cod for a day of exploring and picnicing.
