At the tip of the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland, is a very wild shoreline with jagged rock cliffs. In the distance are the Blasket Islands. The rugged outcroppings at Slea Head are one of the iconic images of this favorite Irish vacation destination. Some call the peninsula the “Cape Cod” of Ireland. – There are some beautiful beaches (’strands’) too.
