On November 7, 2015 I went to the Missouri Botanical Garden expecting to find a limited number of blooms left this late in the season, To my surprise the garden with still filled with numerous blooms. I felt strange to see the workmen putting up the holiday displays right next to the rose garden still in bloom.

Masterpiece. From the looks, this looks to be Hypericum androsaemum, a favourite of mine both for its beauty as well as for its use that I like very much. The entire plant can be used after drying to produce a very good infusion that calms and gives good feeling ;-)
