I was walking through the Climatron at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St Louis, Missouri when I looked up at the Lobster Claw plants and there was a Madagascar Gecko on one of the plants. He stayed still long enough for me to take this photo. His green coloring against the red of the flower made for a great contrast.

This is one of the best captures of the Gold Dust or Day Gecko that I have seen and it is difficult to get such a clear picture with all the personality as well. I really like your galleries...many of the shots reminded me of Hawaii where I had 2 geckos in my hale as "room mates" and was able to stroke their tummies as well. They kept down the insects, especially the mosquitos!

Aloha, Mahalo nui loa for your compliment on my photo and my gallery. Hawaii is my favorite place to vacation. All the bright colors on the islands make for beautiful photos. :)
