Hi Elizabeth, Thank you, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This is one of my favorite photos. I was pleased with how well the reflections turned out.

Location
I took this photo on one of my Saturday morning trips to the Missouri Botanical Gardens.Time
I took this photo at about 8:00 AM. The sun had just come up above the brick walls surrounding the garden allowing it to illuminate the waterlilies in the reflecting pondLighting
This was taken with natural light.Equipment
This is a hand held shot taken with my Nikon P510 camera.Inspiration
I loved the reflection of the water lily in the water. The water was so still it was line the flower was resting on a mirror.Editing
I use Lightroom for my post processing. I set my white and black points and adjusted the contrast to bring out the detail of the reflection. In my camera bag
I carry with me my Nikon P510 & P900 cameras with which I can easily take macro to telescopic photos. I carry two 8 x10 pieces of foam board. One is black and one is white on one side and aluminum foil attached to the other to affect the lighting. I take my tripod and my case containing my adapter and UV, CPL, FLD and Neutral Density Filters.Feedback
Don't be in a hurry to take the photo. If you are patient the light may change to create a better photo.
