I normally carry 2 x Nikon D810's, , Nikon 14-24mm lens f2.8 lens,Nikon f2.8 24-70mm lens, Nikon f4 70-200mm lens. Gitzo Tripod. 3 x Nikon SB910 flash guns.Feedback
I guess my advice would be to hand hold the camera and recce the scene to find an angle with the wow factor. Then bring the tripod to that point to support the camera. I use f8 when ever possible to achieve optimum lens sharpness.I focused at a point to achieve best sharpness through out (the hyperfocal distance) then shoot a whole series of images at differing shutter speeds and ISO settings so that when you return home you have a good selection of images to choose from.
