I took this photo inside my homeTime
I took this in the evening timeLighting
I used a flash for this photo to enhance the light on her body because it was dim lighting inside. I wanted to the flash to bounce off the wall so it would not hit directly on her skin causing it to show highlights and shadows.Equipment
I used a canon 40D with a canon speedlite flash.Inspiration
I thought the water drops sliding down her nude body looked sensual and I really liked the richness of her skin with all the twists in it as she was leaning towards the side. It was taken after she showered and instead of using a towel to dry, I told the model to air dry and let me take some photos with the water drops as they dropped off her body. I wanted it to be a classy nude to show the beauty of the human body and I think this photo really shows that.Editing
I made it B&W to enhance the human body in a classy and beautiful way. That's about it!In my camera bag
Canon 40D and Canon 7D. I use mostly my prime lenses, 50mm and 85mm but always carry a wider lens which I tend to mix up using different ones. But I will never go anywhere without my primes! I usually don't use flash but of course with certain captures, I will always keep my Canon speedlite flash with me as well.Feedback
I would just use your creativity and try different poses with your model to get different angles and see how the light hits the subject. I like to play around and after I always find my favorite shot but without using movement and enough light (flash) you can't capture the beautiful details. So I just suggest using movement and lighting and have fun and keep shooting until you get that perfect shot that you love!
