I took this photo in our back garden in Enkhuizen, Holland.on a wonderful saterday morning in spring.Time
It must have been early because the morning dew covered all the plants and grass, making the garden look like a glistening fairy tail...Lighting
Light is specially wonderful in the early morning and when the sun sets; the Golden hour. No additional lighting is needed for a beautiful combination of deep color and spectacular light!Equipment
I have a Lumix DMC-TZ60, all my photos are taken with this little miracle of a camera...The best thing about this camera is that it has a good Leica lens and it is very easy to carry with you because it practically fits in your back pocket.Inspiration
I love photographing light, so I wanted to capture the wonderful reflections of the sun in the milions of little pearls glistening around my feet.I didn't succeed in photographing the whole scene, so I tried to make a macro in wich the whole picture of reflection and shadow was represented...Editing
This was a natural shot, no post-processing was done, I only cropped the photo. I allways shoot a wider shot, to have a wider range of sharpness. In my camera bag
I don't have a bag of equipment at all, only my Lumix DMC-TZ60, a wonderful intelligent automatic pocketcamera wich practically fits in my backpocket. It shows that you do not have to use expensive and big cameras to achieve nice results...Feedback
I was laying in the wet grass as low as possible and took a lot of photo's at slightly different angles. I like photos with a simple natural background without distracting items. Sometimes I remove some unwanted items or place leaves, stones or anything I can find to create a soft background in the right colors. In this case the seedlings were good as they were! The result was about 3 nice shots with the right colour, sharpness, bling and light. I tried to keep a bit of distance to have a wider depth of sharpness and cropped the photo later to the size I liked. try different croppings and choose the best one later the next day so you can have a fresh look at your compositions!
