While you didn't win my Down Low photo challenge, if I could have picked another photo to win, it would have been yours. Congratulations on taking such a great photo, I can't wait to see more from you in the future!

Location
This photograph was taken in my front yard during one of my weed pulling days. It was a nice, cool day in late April.Time
This was probably in the afternoon.Lighting
It was an overcast day.Equipment
I used my Canon Rebel xsi, 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
I saw this little guy while I was pulling weeds out of one of my many flower beds and I know the neighbors thought, "What is that crazy lady taking pictures of?!" It's not out of the ordinary for me to just walk around the yard photographing the flowers that pop up throughout the seasons. I wouldn't actually touch the snail; I moved him around with a leaf, or a twig to get a variety of background and surroundings, always trying to get a better shot than my previous depth of field photograph of a snail that you can also see in my gallery.Editing
The only post production that I performed on this image was making the green a little more vibrant and enhanced the contrast of the snail's head.In my camera bag
I always keep my Canon handy with my 18-55mm and 75-300mm zoom ready, just in case.Feedback
I can only suggest to photograph at many different angles, distances and backgrounds. Thank you for liking this photograph:)
