Behind The Lens

Location
I took this on Indian lake in the Adirondacks in the northern part of the Untied states.
Time
I was camping with my husband and two dogs and I usually get up early so this morning was no different I got up to let the dogs out before light and saw the sun just coming up over the mountain I would say around 5:30 am so I quickly grabbed my camera and got a few shots before the sun burned off the mist.
Lighting
No not really this was natural lighting the only real light was coming from the misty sun and the glow around it.
Equipment
The only camera I used was my canon 50D with an 18-135mm lens.
Inspiration
I enjoy misty looking pictures so this was a great shot and I couldn't believe it was right in front of me, they give me a calm feeling inside and I hope it gives people a calm and relaxing feeling when they see it themselves.
Editing
I sharpened the shot and enhanced it then added a little more color to the sky to give it a little more feeling to it :)
In my camera bag
Right now i usually use my canon 70D and an 18-135mm lens to a 150-600mm lens for the longer shots.
Feedback
I've taken a lot of shots all over the country and my favorite are the nature shots God has given us beautiful things to see and cherish my advice is go out and enjoy your world and see what's around you even if it's just around a corner you never know what might be around that corner to shot.
