Behind The Lens

Location

This is Ash, he belongs to a friend of mine & she had asked me to take some images for her.

Time

This was taken during the afternoon.

Lighting

With Ash's grey colouring I wanted to capture as much detail in his fur so we opted to take the pictures out in the garden. natural light brings out fur detail much better than artificial lighting.

Equipment

This was taken on my old camera a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150. I just love Panasonic camera's, they are light weight & so easy to use.

Inspiration

I was commissioned to photograph Ash, which I was only to happy to do. He is such a grumpy cat but so beautiful.

Editing

No major. post processing just a little cropping.

In my camera bag

I'm a very lazy photographer & tend not to carry anything other than my camera. I believe there is a tripod in the boot of my car but it hasn't seen the light of day for a while!

Feedback

Have patience when trying to capture the true image of an animal. This picture shows Ash as he is, beautiful but grumpy.
