Absolutely phenomenal work, Tammy. So Elizabethan; so delicate in its processing, not unlike a painting. BravO.

Location
This image was taken in an abandoned house in Madison, Mississippi.Time
Around 1 or 2 in the afternoonLighting
I wanted to create drama with shadows for this image so used my Canon 580exII with a Photoflex Octodome.Equipment
Canon 5D Mark II with Canon 50mm 1.8, 580 exII in a Photoflex Octodome, and a large reflector for fill.Inspiration
The model in this image is a fantastic pastel artist. After seeing her portrait work, I knew that would be the theme. The house wasn't far away from where I lived and I passed it every day waiting for a reason to shoot there. When I saw the tones she was using in her work, I knew that was the perfect place. I immediately knew what I wanted to create with her. It would be all about reflection.Editing
When we arrived on location, I noticed there was not enough glass in the window to get her actual reflection, and that was KEY! When I knew I had my main shot nailed, I ran around to the outside of the house and shot back through the window frame to get the actual reflection I would later use. The majority of the post work on this image was fading that image into the window and making it appear as a reflection. After that, I used textures for depth. In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mark II, EF 24-105L, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM AutoFocus Telephoto Zoom Lens, two primes, 85mm and 50mm, Canon 580ex II flash, Pocket Wizards and several large reflectors are always in my bag.Feedback
