Mix It Up Photo Contest Winners Showcased
Thank you to all the photographers that shared their best edited shots in this photo contest made possible by friend Colin Smith. Colin is the founder of PhotoshopCAFE which has received over 30 million visitors. Colin has Authored 19 books. He has won numerous awards including 3 Guru awards. He's been nominated for the Photoshop Hall of Fame twice. He loves art and technology and is a pioneer of HDR as well as aerial Drone Photography. Colin is a regular columnist for Photoshop User Magazine and he's been featured in almost every major imaging magazine.
"I really like this piece. Although the levitation theme has been done a lot, I like the original thinking to make this a surrealist piece. The underwater scene is extremely well done. It’s very difficult to create the type of lighting that you would see underwater and this composite demonstrates that very well. I like the detail with the air bubbles and the caustics on the floor as well as the ambient glow. The choice of colors also caught my attention. Well done and deserving of first place" - Colin Smith
