I wanted to capture a dramatic and gritty male portrait. My original intention was a B & W image but I loved the eye colour and decided to stick with

Captured this lovely Snowy Owl on Boxing Day. I believe this is a male as it's mainly white and is quite small compared to the larger female.

Loved the setting for this shot, the colours seemed just right.
