Beautiful work here again with this cat, great portrait, lovely colors and lighting and focus, very well done, no doubt ready for a wall.

Location
I took this photo while visiting my sister-in-law in Palo Alto in California. This is Mocha a very shy and quiet cat. I was surprised, when I sat on the ground outside by the garage, that she let me take her photo. She had a very intense look, didn't want petting. I think she was intrigued by the camera.Time
Late afternoon, just before 6 pmLighting
Nothing specific to share about the lighting. All natural light no reflectors.Equipment
My camera is a Nikon D90, lens was 18-200 Aperture F5.6, ISO 800 at 1/40 sec, no tripod, no flash.Inspiration
As I mentioned this cat was extremely quiet, not a lap cat for sure. I was curious to see if she would stay still long enough for me to snap the photo and she did. It took patience and persistence on my part to capture this beautiful Mocha cat.Editing
Very little post-processing in Lightroom: clarity and colour adjustmentsIn my camera bag
I carry knee pads, reflectors, a few other lenses such as a 50mm, 80mm and a 70-300, a tripod and extra memory cards along with an extra charged battery.Feedback
My advice is to lay low on the ground it is surprising what's down there. Cheers! Love VB ( :
