This is one of my favourite shots. Taken around 9 in the morning on a beautiful clear day. The clouds/sky reflecting in the still water was an invitation to capture the moment. Love the touch of fall colours giving depth and braking up the green.Lighting

I carry my Nikon D90 with with an 18-200 lens. No tripod or flash here. Plain and simple just the way I like it. I let nature speack to me.Inspiration
I was simply enjoying the scenery while walking the trail. Nature is my inspiration particularly when the elements come together. In this case the light and the colours were elements that help make this capture stunning.Editing
Very little post processing on this image. I lightened the shadows and added contrast.In my camera bag
I travel light when I go walking. I simply bring my camera and leave my bag either home or in the car trunk. It contains tripod, extra lenses, reflector, flash, battery and knee pads... You never know when you may need to get down low to capture fun stuff.Feedback
