Nice framing and use of colors and though it is a beautiful foto, i hope nobody has to live in this house.

Beautiful composition, attractive limited color palette...really like the "painterly" quality of the image. Nice!

Congratulations! Love the composition and the way all the textures and tones blend so well together throughout.

Location
I took this photo in Lisbon, Portugal.Time
It was about 4 PM.Lighting
This window was situated in a small street whit no direct sunlight, a perfect situation for a photo like this one. No hard shadows or burnt out highlights to spoil the details of this wonderful wall.Equipment
I have a Lumix DMC-TZ100, all my photos are taken with this little miracle of a camera...The best thing about this camera is that it has a good Leica lens and it is very easy to carry with you because it practically fits in your back pocket. I didn't use any extra equipment, I took the photo spontaneously free out of hand.Inspiration
I really love to take photos of old, worn doors and windows. The trick is to find that little extra that makes the composition interesting. In this case I was struck by the beautiful inner structures revealed by time. The many changes of the construction through the years resemble life itself. When we are getting old the things we have been through show and add depth to our face. A new kind of deeper beauty.Editing
I did a little post-processing in Lightroom to emphasize the colors and textures. In my camera bag
I don't have any equipment in my bag (yet) I am a beginning photographer and I am learning to use a camera, to look for the good light, composition and point of view. One day when I know how to use and set the camera well enough, I will start to think about a bag filled with technical things instead of the need to understand how it works first...Feedback
If you want to take a photo like this one, just look around for the simple every day compositions... Avoid the direct sunlight because it creates hard highlights and dark shadows. If you look at a subject to photograph, you have to try to realize what you want to achieve, Try to find the good light, the right point of view and the best composition... And most of all, take more shots with slightly different settings so you can choose the best one, once you get home and open your laptop when the magic of today's digital world begins... I always crop it later into the size and composition I like best. Crop the photo in different ways, so you can choose the best one the next day when you can have a fresh look at them!
