Location
The photo was taken in Brussels, my hometown. In this city you have a mix off different architectural styles.Time
It was late afternoon end off summer, the light was just right. The shadows where in the right place, so it emphesizes the lines off this building.Lighting
Early morning or late afternoon are the preferred times to take photos. This time allowes you to give more depht and more details in the structure.Equipment
Nikon D3X, with a 24 to 70 mm, 2.8. This lens is an al around and when taking photos on my regular walk, it is always present in my bag.Inspiration
Lines and structure,shadow and light. By this it gives this it elegance in the photoEditing
Photo was converted to B&W, in lightroom, with additional work done on the lighting by usng the pencil tool.In my camera bag
Digital camera, my Nikon D700 or D3X, and basic 24-70 and 14 - 24 mm lens. It alloows me to take landcape or go more in detail.Feedback
Take different angles in your composition. This by simpley shifting, tilting or rotating the camera. It surprises always how different an image become. And above all take your time.
