Congrats on your feature Kasper , so well deserved ! I am fascinated by the cheetah , perhaps it has to do with the animal being the fastest of all , you captured the whole family there very nicely I reckon , thanks for sharing this outstanding image .

I love this shot. In all my trips to Africa I've not been fortunate enough to see a cheetah with tiny cubs. Thank you for sharing.

The natural light was just perfect during that time of the day. At ISO 560 , f/9, 1/640 one could manage to get a focused shot on a bean bag.Equipment
Camera: Nikon D800 Lens: AF-S VR Nikkor 600 f/4G ED I used a bean bag on the roof of a JeepInspiration
Well, it was just wonderful to watch this family exploring the neighborhood. They did not feel disturbed by us. We were a group of six photographers in a workshop with David Rogers.Editing
I used lightroom and Silver efex pro 2 to turn it into a black and white photo. In my camera bag
Well, it depends very much on what I intend to do. When I go in the summer for a walk I always take my Nikon D4 and a Sigma Apo 120-400mm lens and my AF-S Micro Nikkor 105 mm f/2.8 on My Nikon D800. Whenever possible I take my 600mm lens along. My favorite lens, but a little heavy.Feedback
Some people take lots of pictures and pick the best. I do not do that. I try to get it right. I take several pictures sometimes, try different exposure, a different angle. I prefer a tripod, but on this trip I took many shots with a beanbag, which worked really well. Sometimes everything is just right. The light being the most important. But I always feel, that the photos turn out the way I want, when I really like the subject. The holds true for people, animals, landscapes. Photography plays an important role in my life. Being outside and observing nature brings happiness into my life. It can be a dragon fly in the area around a small pond, it can be lion in the middle of Africa, it can be a butterfly in a garden in Cambodia or , last but not least a crane in any part of the world.
