Location
I took this picture at Beelitz Heilstaetten, an abandoned sanatorium for tuberculosis patients, which was a big problem in the first half of the last century. It is a great example for a good social and health care system.Time
It was during the early afternoon.Lighting
There was a little sunshine outside, but it was still pretty dark inside. I took that picture at ISO 1250, f/5,6 and 1/25.Equipment
I used a Nikon 800 on a tripod, no flash.Inspiration
The place has a special atmosphere to it. It is a little spooky, but beautiful at the same time. It must have been really nice, when it was still in use.Editing
I used lightroom. In my camera bag
I usually take my Nikon D800 and Nikon D4. The lens depends pretty much on where I go. If I go into the nature I take a macro lens for insects and a long lens (600mm, my favorite) for birds etc. In the city I take a wide angle lens.Feedback
Take your time and explore the buildings and angles. It can be a bit overwhelming at times in those locations and it takes time to find the right composition.
