Great blues! On the subject of blues, and in case you like the music, I just read that my favorite blues singer, Layla Zoe, has moved to the Netherlands. I looked at quite a few exceptional in your gallery.

Blue hues are wonderful, as is the image. Congratulations on your challenge win!

Location
I took this photo in Seixal, Lisboa, Portugal.Time
It was about 3 PM.Lighting
I didn't use any artificial light, it's a natural shot.Equipment
I have a Lumix DMC-TZ100 free out of hand, all my photos are taken with this little miracle of a camera...The best thing about this camera is that it has a good Leica lens and it is very easy to carry with you because it practically fits in your back pocket.Inspiration
I didn't add the umbrella, it is just how I found this composition of blue hues as I was walking through the city. It;s one of those magical finds you encounter once in a while... Only a few clicks and that's all. Sometimes inspiration is handed out on a platter.Editing
I hardly did any post-processing because I like very much the idea of natural photos... I only enhanced the accents a bit, straightened the distorted perspective and I cropped the photo to the size and composition I liked most.In my camera bag
I don't have a bag of equipment at all, only my Lumix DMC-TZ60, a wonderful intelligent automatic pocketcamera wich practically fits in my backpocket. It shows that you do not have to use expensive and big cameras to achieve nice results...Feedback
To capture an image like this is not very difficult at all, just look around you and be bewondered about the beautiful world we are living in. I try to look through a pinhole, without forgetting the whole picture. If you look at a subject to photograph, you have to try to realise what you want to achieve, Try to find the good light, the right point of view and the best composition... And most of all, take more shots with slightly different settings so you can choose the best one, once you got home and opened your laptop, the magic of today's world begins... I allways crop it later into the size and composition I like best. Crop the photo in different ways, so you can choose the best one the next day when you can have a fresh look at them!
