I like the pastel colours, the composition, the trembling reflexions... So beautiful, just like a painting.

Great composure. It makes the eyes gravitate from foreground to background in a delicate motion. The lightness of colours completes this picture. Well done!

Fantastic capture! I am always amazed to see boats marooned when the tide is out. This shot could be a painting.

Location
I took this photo in Seixal, Lisboa, Portugal.Time
It was about 2 PM on a wonderful summers day.Lighting
Although the sun was high in the sky I was able to take a nice photo without hard shadows.Equipment
I have a Lumix DMC-TZ100, all my photos are taken with this little miracle of a camera...The best thing about this camera is that it has a good Leica lens and it is very easy to carry with you because it practically fits in your back pocket.Inspiration
Seixal is a fisherman town at the other side of the river at just a very short distance from Lisbon. But the difference is enormous... I wanted to capture this feeling in a painting kind of photo. An oasis of peace.Editing
I did a little post-processing in Lightroom but the photo is very close to it's original. In my camera bag
I don't have a bag of equipment at all, only my Lumix DMC-TZ60, a wonderful intelligent automatic pocketcamera wich practically fits in my backpocket. It shows that you do not have to use expensive and big cameras to achieve nice results...Feedback
To capture an image like this is not very difficult at all, just look around you and be bewondered about the beautiful world we are living in. I try to look through a pinhole, without forgetting the whole picture. If you look at a subject to photograph, you have to try to realise what you want to achieve, Try to find the good light, the right point of view and the best composition... And most of all, take more shots with slightly different settings so you can choose the best one, once you got home and opened your laptop, the magic of today's world begins... I allways crop it later into the size and composition I like best. Crop the photo in different ways, so you can choose the best one the next day when you can have a fresh look at them!
