Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken in my home studio in upstate NY.
Time
Dinner time.
Lighting
The shot was taken with a single flash umbrella at 1/3 power located 4 feet from the dog.
Equipment
Canon 5D, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens, Yongnuo Speedlite YN968EX-RT.
Inspiration
I thought about this shot after having a 'bun, no bun' discussion with some friends at a party. After someone making the statement, 'hotdogs don't look good unless they are in a bun', I decided to prove them wrong.
Editing
This was pretty much straight out of the camera. A slight contrast adjustment was made before posting.
In my camera bag
I normally carry a Canon 5d and a couple lenses. Gear switches in and out as needed, depending on the project.
