Location
This photo was taken in my backyard. I liked the ice cycle hanging from the berry.Time
I took this photo mid-morning of Nov 18th 2018.Lighting
It was a sunny day, thus my eagerness to take the photo, because everything was sparkling in the sunshine. I think a cloud blocked the sun as I was taking this photo, because I had to adjust the ISO from 100 to 200, because I did not want to have shutter speed under 1/60 second, since I did not have a tripod.Equipment
This photo was taken with a Nikon D3200 with a 15mm-55mm lens. No filters were used.Inspiration
This photograph was taken in mid November after an ice storm. There was ice everywhere after the storm and the sun was out and everything was glistening in the sun. I knew I had to capture this event.Editing
The only post-processing done on this was adjusting the brightness a little. This photo was shot in RAW, therefore it needed some processing done. But noting major was done to enhance the photograph. In my camera bag
I usually carry only a small camera bag that will hang on my shoulder. I have one camera body (Nikon D3200) and two lens (15-55MM) and (55-300mm). I have a polarized filter for each lens and a neutral density filter small the smaller lens. I have several macro attachments lens for the (15-55mm) lens in case I wish to do macro photography. I also have a remote shutter release fob, several charged batteries and an extra flash card.Feedback
Sometimes getting a good photograph is being in the right place at the right time. Weather created the inspiration for this photo opportunity. Just remember to look at your subject from all angles. I took several shots of these berries from several angles, of course the first I shoot was this one. I would suggest do not hurry to take a photograph. Look at it from different angles and wait until the wind dies down, if necessary, or wait until the lighting is just right. Lighting can change outdoors slightly, especially on partly cloudy days. If the subject is going anywhere it can be worth having patience a wait for the right conditions to unfold.
