The photo was taken in my home studio which I build on top of my garage in my house a few years ago.Time
It was on a Sunday afternoon because I found a few bags of forgotten coffee beans in my store and devided to create a “all coffee image”Lighting
I used 2 off camera speedlite Canon Flashes with a remote trigger.Equipment
I used a tripod because of the multiple images of the filling brand and the coffee splashing. The camera was a Canon Eoes 5 Mark II.Inspiration
I found some forgotten coffee beans and so one thing let to another, without a big plan but just experimenting different Techniques, like making a Splash or capturing falling coffee beans.Editing
Of course, all the different shots had to be combined in photoshop CS6 using layers. Thats why it is important to use a tripod so its easier ti combine the Splash, the Beans on the base as well as the calling beans. In my camera bag
It depents what I am up to but for walking and holidays I always bring enough batteries, memory cards, tissues, the very use full Canon 24mm-105mm zoom lens and a Canon flash with the remote trigger.Feedback
I wouldnt know how to do something like this if it wasnt for photoshop. So I guess its important to learn the basis if this, its actually easier then you think once you get going.
