Behind The Lens

Location
The picture of the monkey was taken at the zoo in Singapore and the bird ( a pied starling ) is my pet and is kept in a cage in my house in Jakarta.
Time
The picture of the bird and the monkey was taken in the afternoon in a shadowy area.
Lighting
To combine such an image of the two animals, it must have similar lighting conditions. Both taken in the shadow without direct sunlight.
Equipment
The camera used was a canon 5D mark Il, the lens a 24-105 zoom.
Inspiration
I love to create images with a theme or just for fun using photo shop and try not to take things too serious.
Editing
I combined the bird and the monkey in photo shop, carefully placing the bird on the monkeys hand.
In my camera bag
When I walk around I usually just carry my canon 5D mark IV camera the 24-100 zoom lens and the 100mm 2.8 Makro lens. I always bring a spare battery and lens cleaning cloth.
Feedback
When I take pictures in nature with animals I sometimes think of how that image can be used to combine it with other images. The purist might not agree but for me it’s just a lot fun and try to get better in photoshop at the same time.
