Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the town Bridport in Dorset, England.

Time

I had gone to Bridport to do some work but had a little time to wander around. I love going down back streets to see what I can find. This was taken around 10am as I was heading to my appointment.

Lighting

It was a reasonable bright day but in the street I was in it was a little shaded.

Equipment

This was taken on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200.

Inspiration

It's was one of those moments you often see but don't really take a lot of notice. Cat's often sit on window sills looking for someone to let them in. I thought it was too good a chance to pass by.

Editing

I adjusted the exposure slightly to compensate for the shaded area in the street.

In my camera bag

I am such a lazy photographer, I only ever carry my camera. I find the Panasonic range ideal for my type of photography which is always 'on the go'. At the time of this photo it was a Panasonic Lumix DMX-FZ200, I have since upgraded to the DMZ -FZ2000

Feedback

Don't let the moment pass you by, little things like a cat sitting outside a house can be such a routine scene that we ignore it. Even the routine things make a good picture
