Location
A group of five friends and I took a trip to Iceland during winter. We took the long drive to the town of Hellnar where I took this photo of the fairly famous church.Time
I believe it was late afternoon. It was a cloudy, cold day.Lighting
The light wasn't good and the sky had no interest which is why I converted this photo to black and white.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III.Inspiration
I was taking shots of everything I could see. Iceland has not shortage of good locations!Editing
Yes, I converted to black and white. In my camera bag
I usually have my Canon EOS 5D Mark III and a 70-300mm, 50mm and 35mm lens.Feedback
I think I was lucky to end up with the perspective of the church with the mountain looking tiny in the background. My advice is to just shoot a lot and you might end up with something spectacular that you don't expect.
