This was taken at Budleigh Salterton in Devon England. It's a small coastal town about 5 miles from my home.Time
I took this about mid-day as this is the best time to catch most of the flowers open.Lighting
There is always a bit of glare from the sea & light coloured pebbles on the beach here.Equipment
I took this on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200Inspiration
The local people love to make use of old boats so when they reach the end of their working life they get transformed into planters around the town. It adds a flash of colour to the landscape.Editing
I had to slightly adjust the exposure to compensate for the light reflecting off the water & pebbles on the beach.In my camera bag
I'm a very lazy photographer & rarely carry anything other than my camera.Feedback
Always have a camera with you even of it's just a mobile phone, you never know when you will come across a likely subject.
