I attended a Raptor program at a Nature Center that cares for raptors that cannot be released into the wild for various reasons. This beautiful Hawk was taken illegally from her nest and raised by people for a few months and then released her. She did not have the flying and hunting skills needed to survive in the wild so she was taken in by this Center. It was exciting to be able to get so close.

Caught him just as he roared. He was at the Brookfield zoo and was sleeping most of the day. I kept going back and he finally was awake.
