Many times I'll drive out of the way to avoid traffic, and quite often I run US460 to avoid the Hampton Roads traffic. As my wife and I were coming out of Farmville, VA into Buckingham County, I noted how the Moon was beginning to rise, but the clouds were blocking the view. I thought how neat it would be to capture it on the James River under the Winginia bridge boat ramp. I slightly lit the left foreground with my handheld lamp as I set up on the boat ramp just in the water.
