Occasionally, I go back and re-edit RAW images. Software programs evolve, and Adobe Lightroom is no exception to having lots of added features.

This particular RAW image was from a timelapse of over 500 frames. My objective two years ago was to create a timelapse and a star trail. Today I want to incorporate the Milky Way. Taking photos in RAW allows you to extract light that the camera's sensor that the naked eye cannot see. Here I pulled the light out of the Milky Way. The local time was 1:45 AM, and the Milky Way was beginning to rise in the southeast sky.
ISO 1600, 15 seconds, Canon EF16-35 lens @ f-2.8
