I took this image at a kite festival held in my home town each year.Time
This was taken around 10.15am, I like to get there before too many people to get a few clear shots.Lighting
As you can see it was a cloudy day but still quite bright due to the site being next to the sea. The water reflects a lot of light.Equipment
This was taken on my old camera, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150. I have since upgraded to the FZ2000.Inspiration
the vivid colours standing out against the sky caught my eye here. The pole holding the kites added a good leading line.Editing
No post processing needed other than a little straightening & cropping.In my camera bag
I am a very lazy photographer & only carry my camera. I like to be ready to capture an image at very short notice so have my camera ready at all times as it is.Feedback
The advice here is to look up. Sometimes the best shot is over our heads. This shot composed itself with the poles & colour.
