Location
This photo was taken on Long Island, NYTime
I only shoot at golden hour which is 1 hour before sunset.Lighting
I actually waited till the light was just right and the glow of the sun set was peaking through the trees.Equipment
Nikon D700 and one of my favorite old lenses the 135mm f/2.8Inspiration
I found this beautiful gown at a thrift store and my niece was the perfect subject and size.Editing
Yes very minimum post processing. Mostly clean edits in ACR and photoshop. The bokeh is amazing with this old lens.In my camera bag
I always have my D700 50mm, 85mm, 135mm, 70-200mm and my wide angle 28mm.Feedback
It's all about the light. Photography is lighting. There is no photoshop trick or action you can buy to duplicate the perfect light. Wait for it.
