Thank you to all the photographers that participated in the Classic Beauty Photo Contest, sharing their best photos showing your interpretation of classic beauty. Congratulations to the winners and finalists, and a special round of applause for the Grand Jury Winner who wins an Amazon Echo.

A special thanks to our friend and professional photographer Jacob Surland for his collaboration as a guest judge. Jacob Surland is a Fine Art Photographer, riding on the edge of surrealism and the believable. He plays with light, and is creative, curious and explores what is possible to do with a photograph in the post processing. HDR is very often a tool on this journey, but not always. No post-processing techniques are sacred when it comes to creating that magical visual moment. Jacob has exhibited internationally, including at Art Shopping in Carousel du Louvre in Paris.

Grand Jury Winner

"I love this car and the setting. Ozscapes has done a great job on the composition, and placing the interesting details of the hood of the car well within the frame, as well as including a couple of mysterious mirrored persons in the top right-hand corner. A detail I that love.  This my kind of image-processing, and I think Ozscapes has done a marvelous job of mixing  strong tone mapping effects around the car, and yet keeping the car clean and shiny. The use of tone mapping also enhances the feeling of an 'old scene'. A truly worthy winner." - Jacob Surland

Runner Up

"A beautiful mix of two classic beauties. A lady who truly looks classic, and a classic car. And because it is kept in black and white it looks like something out of an old black and white movie. There is a gorgeous subtle sensual, almost lazy look of the lady's eye." - Jacob Surland

Runner Up

"NellieHari has nailed the classic beauty too, in a pin-up style girl on a scooter. There is a ton of details from a 50s look, including choice of colors, dress, make-up and scooter. The girl also manages a 50s look and smile. A well executed imaged." - Jacob Surland
