Typically dutch! I love this Eelco! You made a girl on the Lappmark very happy with this memory of here homeland. The mirror image of the trees, the clear water and as special touch the fog. Greetz from Angel

Location
I was driving to my workshop in Enkhuizen (Holland) early on a winters morning , when I saw the mist floating away. I wanted to try to take a photo of this typical Dutch landscape with just a little bit of fog laying over the water and hurried while grabbing my camera because I knew little time was left...Time
It was about eight in the morning on an early winters day.Lighting
The light was beautiful because the sun was doing her best to shine her warmth over the misty water, quickly pushing the fog upwards. It's a perfectly natural photo without additional lighting.Equipment
I have a Lumix DMC-TZ60, all my photos are taken with this little miracle of a camera...The best thing about this camera is that it has a good Leica lens and it is very easy to carry with you because it practically fits in your back pocket.Inspiration
I love the silence of misty mornings and as I was driving to our workshop, I saw that I had to hurry for that last moment of uprising fog... I hoped for the fog to lift just a little bit so the beautiful colors of green blue and brown would be prominently visible.Editing
I prefer natural photos and do very little editing, allthough I allways crop them. In this case it was all I did, no post-processing at all.In my camera bag
I don't have a bag of equipment at all, only my Lumix DMC-TZ60, a wonderful intelligent automatic pocketcamera wich practically fits in my backpocket. It shows that you do not have to use expensive and big cameras to achieve nice results...Feedback
There are some great moments to take photos, for exemple the Golden hour and misty mornings, my favorites. In this case I liked the landscape to be visible under the uprising mist. This particular moment mostly lasts just a few minutes as the sun and the wind chase of the white clouds quite quickly. This photo was pure luck because I wasn't going there to take photos, I was driving to work. I knew this location very well and was waiting for an opportunity to take a photo like this. If you want to take a misty photo, just go to a nice location and wait for the good moment, allways remember; There will be a moment the fog will be dissapearing... just the right time to make your choice!
