I love everything about this phototure. He is a very handsome young man with mesmerizing eyes. Love the freckles too.

Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo in my garage. It was a bright summer day so the light was at coming in from the outside indirectly and wrapping softly and evenly around my son's face. The area behind him was in shadow.Time
Late afternoon.Lighting
Because he was inside the garage, he was in indirect light, but as you can see in his eyes, outside the garage, the light was bright and gave him nice catch light in his eyes. If you look closely you can see me reflected as I stand in the garage entrance taking the photo.Equipment
I used a Canon 6D. No flash. The lens was a Canon 70-200mm F/2.8LInspiration
My son.Editing
Changed to B&W and played with the contrast. Sharpened the eyes in LR5.In my camera bag
I have a Canon R3 and a Canon 1DX MKII that I use for above water. My go to lenses are the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM, EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x, and the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM. Below water I use a Canon 1DX MKIII and the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM in a Nauticam Housing.Feedback
Make good use of light and always focus on the eyes.
