Location
This image was taken in the gardens of a elizabethan manor house called Sand. Sand is near Sidbury in East Devon, England.Time
This was taken about 2.30pm.Lighting
It as a sunny day & the gardens were looking bright & fresh. There were lots of shaded areas around the garden with sunny patches.Equipment
At the time of taking this I was using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 with a Leica 25mm to 600mm wide-angle lens.Inspiration
I loved the summer house in the background. There were so many options for shots. I did take a number of images, some with the summer house as the focus point & others with the flowers. This turned out to be my favorite.Editing
I tend not to do too much editing to my images. If possible I will leave them as shot. This one was just cropped a little. In my camera bag
As a very lazy amateur I usually only carry my camera, at this time a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150. I do keep a tripod in the car but it rarely see the light of day. I tend to travel as light as possible.Feedback
Visit open gardens & take lots of images. Try taking the same view with different angles, focus points & exposures. Flowers are very adaptable & sometimes surprise you with the outcome. Most of all have fun.
