This is a most beautiful image. I love the sunlight apparently shining from the right side and throwing shadows across the road. This in turn accentuates the road and the distance to the lone figure. Good detail on the figure and best of all the figure is accentuated by being outlined by snow, clear of shadow in a strong position because of good composition. Great image, well done.

I love this shot in BW! The composition is strengthened by having the man in the distance. I don't usually like burned edges, but I it works very well here. Great Work!

gr8 exposure - b&w was a superb choice for this to develop the contrast with the snow - the lone figure adds interest and a bit of mystery - very nice composition
